I mean it.

And leave a comment. If Chris gets a bunch of positive comments about Aftershave it may be put on the Best Of NEXT compilation CD.

HJ - Please resist the urge to vote for the Gaslight Anthem. Some other time perhaps.

PS - The wait is over, they chose "Aftershave" as the tune.

VOTE!

Was it the guy at the radio station that chose the song? I think it's a strange choice, I definitely think there are better Hussy's songs. Different tastes I suppose but if I was choosing from the two albums it would have been Roller Disco or Rachel probably. Anyway I've just taken the voting up by 10%.

Hey K!!

You really tested my loyalty there !!

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club

The Gaslight Anthem

& The Hussys's

Sorry but I had to cast a vote for Black Rebel Motorcycle Club :o

Oh!.....

And I also cast 36 votes for The Hussy's !!!!!!
( then my finger got sore ).

I went on and they were sitting at 46%, I voted, and it dropped to 39% ?

Then managed to get The Hussy's up to 57% !

To vote ..

1. Hit K's link.

2. Vote.

3. Delete your browsing history.

4. Refresh the page.

5. Vote again !

6. Do steps 3,4 & 5 ad nauseum until you get a blister on your finger.
( As Ringo famously shouted out! )

7. Change fingers and then carry on voting !

Think I'll go vote for The Gaslight Anthem now.

Will vote later on and leave comments ...

8) Jack

P.S. 'Helter Skelter'

THE HUSSY'S NOW AT 67% (Last time I voted  )

Hey Hussettes! :D

Like said previous, all you folx that are into 'Networking' post Kim's little link on your sites and get your friends to vote for The Hussy's !!
(My three "Networking friends" have already voted. )

Halloweenjack84,Kim,The Hussy's & maybe members of the forum Vs America & the World?

Is that not a bit of an unfair fight ?

Read above instructions from my last post and vote accordingly.

And like K said leave lottsa comments in praise of The Hussy's and praise for Chris and 'Next' for airing The Hussy's on American Radio.

Am sure If you 'big up' Chris & Next enough for playing The Hussy's they'll be more inclined to check out The Hussy's 'proper' and play more of their songs on their station.
(Especially If they get a phenomenal voting margin and comments response which will stick in their minds and let them know they're onto a winner by playing The Hussy's ! No?)

As a wee side line for your enjoyment, whilst voting, anyone who can guess all the folx who I'm leaving comments 'as' will win a cyber pat on the back from moi personally.

Keep Hussying !

& Keep Voting !

I sent Chris Bro the two CD's with no suggestions because I wanted to see what he would choose.

I believe he made a decent choice (for an American) and if we all vote there is a good chance that he will play more Hussys on the radio.

HJ, I love how each of your email addresses has a unique personality.

There HalloweenJack84, the informed music lover carefully choosing the best tune.
Then there's AlladinSane, #1 Hussy's fan who possibly had a little too much coffee.
Then there's Tyler Durden, full of praise for the show and trying to shed his unfortunate Fight Club image.

You're never alone with a schizophrenic, eh Jack?

Hi K!

So you've only managed to discover three of my personalities so far ?

I'm actually a room full of people.

Hence why I can have great parties even when on my own.

Afershave (With Sleazy Strip Joints)

My ' School Report Card' always said " Good at Algebra, Maths, and being a pain in the ass! "

Congrats to The Hussy's for being the outright winners on this American radio poll !

8) Jack

P.S. Like K said, it would be nice for JC or F to post a wee comment of 'thanx' to Chris Bro's site on being the winners as maybe he'll keep them in mind, and play more The Hussy's !

Yes, it's true, the Hussys won the NEXT Music poll with a whopping 69% of the vote. Well done to all who voted and left comments!

There will be another poll at the end of March and you need to all vote again.
That's a best of show and if the Hussys win that one too it will really leave an impression.

Cool that Rodney B played two songs from Japanese Grafitti. Both East Coast and West Coast sorted...

Eve K!

Please post a little link on this post again, once voting takes place.

Cool that The Hussy's have now been played on East coast & West coast radio in the U.S.A.!
Now all we have to do is concentrate on the middle of your little island.

I'll be sure to post the link again at the end of the month.

Middle America pretty much doesn't care for alternative music, they seem to thrive on top 40, John Cougar, LOTS of country and western, classic rock and Eminem. The Hussys should concentrate on the East and West Coasts, as that's where the $$$ is.

And let's face it, it's about time the Hussys made some money.

PS - The band that wins NEXT for the week now gets their photo at the top of the poll. While it's an old photo of the Hussys it's still a great one in my opinion.

Eve K!!

Noticed a couple of days ago, that NEXT put The Hussy's photo on their site (albeit an old one) and meant to comment.

Unless Bowie is on the best of show, then it's a forgone conclusion, that The Hussy's will win !

If there was somewhere I could lay a bet on it, I'd bet Freecloud on it.
(And I NEVER gamble)

After all K,whilst you are most excellent at doing what you do, I'm quite good at doing what I do.
