And why have you started speaking English D, I assumed you were Scottish?

I am Scottish but I'm ever so terribly posh :)

Well that's a lie but it's always fun to confuse our friends across the pond.

I've not been in a club in a while, but I hear that some young whipper snap "Shirley Bassey" is all the rage with the young ones.

Eve Al!

Hope you were forced to be there through a work obligation and not a paying customer?

Right I'm now off to hide my Spandau Ballet's 'Greatest Hits' CD. lol

I actually speak enough Scottish to get by in a bar. As for finding the bar, I'll use a GPS.

Eve K!

Scottish is not another language K ,it's just English with different dialects !
(As is English in England, with all the differing dialects. Watched a short film about a load of hooligans on Liverpool estates, and was only thankful it was subtitled !  )

Now the language folx speak in Glasgow, called Glaswegian is definately another language, likened to Swahili

As prob known round these parts, I went to live in another part of the world for several years, and when I came home, I went to the local Chinese takeaway on the first eve home, and didn't know what anyone was saying as the Chinese takeaway folx were talking Glaswegian.

Don't I sound racist against Glaswegians and Chinese K? Lol

8) Jack

PS Probably about 98% of Scottish folx can't speak Scottish K, as 'Scottish' is actually Gaelic?

PPS What's a 'GPS' K?
A Glaswegian P*sshead Seeker?
(If it is it'll probably just 'direct' you to my house :P )
