Just loving the 'new' Supernaturals songs, thanks muchly Jack :D

I must give the Replacements a listen again Kim, long time since I've heard them, but you've put me in the mood to seek them out :)

If you ever get the chance to see the video for the Replacements tune "Bas.tards Of Young" see it. I bet it cost $20 to shoot and edit.

Eve Folx !!

Well as can be seen from the photo above, I finally accquired a copy of The Supernaturals 'Dark Star' :D from that real slim shady person who loiters in the shadows behind William Hills bookmakers.

And how f*ckin' excellent it is too !!

Originally wanted it to hear 'Large Dung Beetle' as 'Dung Beetle' has always been one of my fave 'Supers' songs, but all the songs are incredible.

Am sure you'd love it K, as it's like The Supernaturals have smoked a lot of pot and listened to a lot of American radio stations.

Example : 'Dark Star' starts off like the 22-20's then ends up sounding like Jimi Hendrix playing The Monkees 'Stepping Stone' (Or was that a Sex Pistols song?)

And am sure in 'Bipod X ' I can hear the Rolling Stones 'Wild Horses' Yeah ! Know they're not American, but let's face it they now are, because of their 'Mars Bar' fetish ! ).

Anyways, like said previous the plan once I accquired the second cassette was to convert both 'Big Seven' & 'Dark Star' to mp3s so you guys could hear them.

So hopefully at the weekend if I have the time I'll reconnect my CD recorder to my sound system
(Yeah! Like who records CDrs on a CD recorder in this PC age?, hence why it's up the stair almost brand new in the box  ) and put all the trax on a CD.

Once accomplished all mp3s will be sent via a link to anyone who wants them.

(Will initially be recorded analogue to digital, but once I have the time I'll go buy an optical digital cable to rerecord the trax digitally and resend those files in future days.)

Stay Super !

8) Jack

P.S. Guess if any 'Supers' folx are reading this I can expect to be sued for copyright.

Eve Folx !

Dragged my 'old' CD recorder down from upstairs and fiddled about with my sound system to integrate it into said sound system and finally found out which connection goes where ?
( No mean feat as the back of my sound system is like a telephone exchange !! )

So The Supernaturals 'Big 7'
& 'Dark Star' cassettes are now on my PC in Mp3/ Mp4 format !
(If anyone wants ?)

Have only uploaded ' Big 7 ' to my 'Sendspace' site, but will upload ' Dark Star ' once I've come back from 'trick or treating'

K & R your 'Big Star' mp3s 'Sendspace 'links should now be in your mail box, as I speak !!

If anyone else wants them, just pm or email moi.

NOT 100% as it was old analogue cassettes to digital but to moi still excellent !!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN !!!!!

Morn Peeps !!

Is Halloween finished yet ?

Is it time to go to bed or is it time to get up ?

Look in your mailbox and the songs from 'Dark Star' should be in there !

Play 'Dark Star' first and tell me it doesn't sound so excellent and so un-Supernaturals ?

Enjoy the different rockin' version of 'Day Before Yesterday's Man' (and tell me the ending ala Roxy Musics 'Re-make / Re-model' ain't cool ) & enjoy the embryonic 'Large Dung Beetle' .

And tell me 'Bipod-x' don't remind you of the Rolling Stones 'Wild Horses'?

Off now to eat my candy apples and monkey nuts .
(Then a cigarette and a beer for breakfast, or is it brunch? )

Just say no to monkey nuts Jack. The memory will haunt you forever. Like the time I.....oh, never mind.

And thanks for the tunes. All my iPod plays anymore is Hussy's and Supernaturals, which is fine.

St Paul may be the best song from the bunch, I can't get it out of my head.

Eve D!!

You should now be able to download 15 songs from Big 7 & Dark Star.
Just look in your spam folder and you'll probably see two emails, one from halloweenjack84@aol.com and one from noreply@sendspace.com .

Click on the second one and there's your 15 songs.

Enjoy !

8) Jack

PS When I have the time I'll send you 'Bubblegum Hill' and a couple of others, so add those addresses to your address book.

Eve D !

Alas I didn't.

I was either in some other country, some other life or just lying in the gutter looking up at the stars.

You now have 'Bubblegum Hill' and a couple of others in your mailbox !

Enjoy
