Library Lovers is a great tune plus a brilliant production and mix. Same with Aftershave.

I really like every song on the record though, no "This Must Be Love" tunes on JG.

Apparently I am in the minority. I like GLA alot but would have produced it a little differently.

Out with the funky guitar chords and in with a harp doing little arpeggios.
Out with the point / counterpoint vocals at the end.
More background vocals and a sea of cellos.

More dramatic.

I was actually expecting something a little more dramatic and anthemic with 'The Greatest Living Actress' after talk of it having an 'I Want To Know What Love Is?' outtro as said in one of The Hussy's blogs?

But still think it class !

And what's "arpeggios" ?

I thought they were little greek salty fishes you put in a toasted sandwich or the name of those funny little penguins that you see on wildlife programmes annoying the polar bears?
