As long as you bring home some kind of bread all you really have to explain is why it took four hours.

"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL NIGHT!"

"You deserve the freshest loaf possible my love, and that requires patience, but you are worth it my darling sweetpea..." :D

Eve K !!

Off out in 45 mins to go see the fabulous The Hussy's in Stirling !!

Have got my excuse sorted .

The old nugget ..

"I'm away to see a man about a dog."

On my return just have to run around the neighbourhood in my alcohol fuelled state to locate a stray dog, before falling in the door.

If I called the gf "darling sweetpea" she'd ..

a) Know I was lying.

b) Would suspect me of being on drugs.

and

c) Probably perform a 'John Bobbit' on me thinking I'd been unfaithful !

Hey B!

Don't worry !

I have it on good authority (Well I actually just made it up ) that those Hussy folx are out busily collecting aluminium cans and empty bottles to scrape enough diesel money together to come grace you guys with their presence !

Or they could pay my return train or airfare for one of the scottish gig dates which would probably be the cheaper option lol :)

Is there such a thing as live Hussy withdrawl symptoms? :)

Good Afters B!

With some of the stories I've heard about some Hussy's gig audiences in the old days, it would have been cheaper for The Hussy's just to pay the audience to come up and see them, rather than them drive all the way down.

There is such a thing as 'Live Hussy's Withdrawal'.

There's an English strain and and Scottish strain.

The English strain kicks in after about one year.

The Scottish strain kicks in after about one month.

Eve D!

Didn't know The Hussy's had covered 'Smile' ?

Can't really see James entertaining doing a cover of a Supernaturals song as I think ? he is kinda wanting The Hussy's to make it because they are The Hussy's !

Maybe they did, don't know, 'cause like yourself I wasn't there.

Think the covers I've seen them do to date are ..

'Hey Ya!'- Outcast
'I Want You Back' - Jackson 5
'Baby It's You' - The Shirelles
'I Want You To Want Me' - Cheap Trick
'Never Forget You' - The Noisettes

Bit hazy If I actually seen them doing the second last one, but know they did .

Keep Hussying !

Jack you've missed out "Merry Xmas Everyone" by Shakin Stevens and the Mariah Carey Xmas song. When Hussys Mark 3 (sounds like an old Ford car) played around Xmas time we found ourselves frantically learning a Xmas song with 1 hour of the rehearsal time to go and in the case of the Mariah Carey song this was a total mindf**k as it is seriously complicated almost jazz in places.

I could be wrong about smile, but I defiitely remember hearing or reading somewhere that they did a cover of it.

Their cover of want you back was really good.
