"Well fact hunters,
I can't say I've noticed any difference in the sound of the mic at all, so far.
Fili's voice sounds better than ever, to be honest. "
Quoted from Al
Hey A & 'fact hunters' ....
As stated Fili's voice sounds better than ever, though not sure wether it's the new day-glo microphone or wether all that water she drinks on stage is actually straight Smirnoff?
Last nights gig in Stirling ?
Hmmph !
For moi lottsa plus points and minus points ...
PLUS
1.The Hussy's looked and sounded EXCELLENT with two of the songs from the forthcoming new album given a live airing !!!
MINUS
1.The venue was a NICE wine bar, which I hate (Give me dodgey dimly lit dodgey dives anytime )
2.The folx there all just seemed to be there in an inbred fashion to see their mates band and The Hussy's didn't get the deserved adulation !
(Though they did eventually win most of the clientele over )
3.On my visit to the T In the Park festival at the weekend, I perforated an eardrum, which meant that I couldn't hear anything below 60 decibels , so even although I could hear the excellent Hussy's music, I couldn't hear anything that didn't involve drums and guitars (ie folx talking, moi talking and it just felt like trying to talk with a cardboard box over my head in a neanderthal fashion

! )
So one double plus point against three of my Victor Medrew minuses in my bad algebra educated world still added up to another wee excellent Hussy gig.
But will still be nice to see The Hussy's on their home turf (
Glasgow/ London) in front of their own audience to see them get their deserved adulation !
Oops !!
The main reason for this post ?
The Hussy's Gig Pix 2009 thread has been updated for all you 'fact finders'.

PS Sorry that James isn't in any of them as he kept hiding behind a big pillar behind a big speaker stand.
