Eve Hussettes !

The latest video to be uploaded to The Hussy's site, 'Library Lovers' from the forthcoming NEW The Hussy's album recorded live in a Yogi Bear fashion somewhere deep in the woods.
( Kept expecting Halloween Jack to peek out from behind one of the trees in the background looking all 'The Matrix'  )

Excellent wee video of what's to come !

P.S. Off to watch BB (Yeah ! Sad! ) so proper comments in the morrow .

I love the illusion that the band is way up in the highlands many miles from civilization, Blair Witch Project territory almost, and then a car drives by...

And we realize they are within walking distance of the studio.

although, we are in fact within driving distance of dunoon, and only a drive, a ferry journey and another drive away from the studio.

About here, in fact:

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=dunoon&sll=53.800651,-4.064941&sspn=11.458429,28.256836&ie=UTF8&ll=55.947998,-4.944878&spn=0.021195,0.055189&t=h&z=14

Somewhere in the forest. I have no idea exactly where, as previously mentioned...

Library Lovers gets better with every listen.

And thanks to the video I can pretty much play it on guitar if need be.
I love how James uses barre chords until his wee fingers get tired then he switches to cowboy chords to rest his digits... :D

Egad, it does sound a little like Style Council.

My favorite song on the new record, and I like them all.

I think it's "Solid Bond" it sounds like. We used a Cardigans loop from a song called "Tomorrow" which has that driving Motown beat and it just went there. There's an earlier demo which is slower and much stranger.....
