Eve Hussettes!

The Hussy's at The 13th Note Glasgow ?
What a brilliant gig !!!
Felt as though I hadn't seem 'em for ages .

Was excellent to hear 'Cheap Flowers' again.
(Will add the set list once my brain cells have regrouped or I manage to acquire it off someone. )

Was also nice to see some former Hussy's there, as it's nice to know they're all still mates.

That's my highlights ..

The gf's was that she almost got a new French girlfriend., whilst I was doing my usual faffing about elsewhere.
(But that's neither here nor there. )

Seem to leave most Hussy's gigs these days wondering why they're going from strength to strength, getting tighter and more excellent musically, and still they're waiting on that 'one song' or that P.A. guy who actually has musical taste to walk through the door.

While we wait that day (which we know is coming) here's some pix of the night which don't do it justice.

Keep Hussying !

That was such an excellent wee gig, The Hussy's were sounding ace, really tight and just superb.
I like the venue as you know, but the first support band were a bit mince. Good to see some ex-hussy's there too :)

Good Afters R!

The Hussy's really were on top form !

Find the 13th Note like watching a band in your dad's garage. Lol!

I spend half my night avoiding bumping my head off those beams/ girders that stick out.
( Being three foot two, you wouldn't have that problem " Lol!! )

I thought the support was quite excellent.

Kept 'hearing' echoes of the B52s.
( Must've been something to do with boy/girl vocals and the Glaswegian accent ? :o )

Good bar service, so that's all that really matters.

Keep Hussying !!

Raffle + Cake. Oh yeah! (No mention of giant butt crack...)

I saw Shirley Manson the other night on a late night talk show, and kept comparing her to Rachel.

Rachel-1, Shirley-0.
Sorry Shirley... :(

Hey K !

The raffle was one of those ones were you're saying to yourself...
" Please don't let me win ..please don't let me win !!!"

(Having to wander around town carrying a little straw flower basket with a big pink ribbon and fake flowers after the gig does not do much for ones cool credibility!! )

As for the 'butt crack' moment ?

Was a wee bit like when you're ranting to one of your work colleagues about how much of a tosser the boss is, and he's standing behind you !
(We've all been there haven't we? Lol!!)

Have heard Rachel is getting two little voodoo dolls in the image of you and I to stick pins into, for our Shirley Manson comparisons ! Lol!!
